Critical pixel written in pixel font

Campaign
International Vulture Awareness Day, September 2026

To celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day (IVAD) 2026, 650 Critical Pixels stickers were donated toSAVE-Vultures India for distribution to participants at the IVAD event at Ramadevarabetta Vulture Sanctuary in Ramanagara, India.

For the artwork, we chose three critically endangered vulture species found in India: White-rumped Vulture, Indian Vulture, and Red-headed Vulture. Each artwork is a 3×3 to 4×3-inch pixel-art vinyl sticker. Every pixel was meticulously placed to capture each species' distinctive features and character while keeping the birds recognizable at a small scale.

The goal was to turn these highly threatened species into something people could carry and share, creating a simple way to invite people to learn more about vulture conservation in India.
